Greetings from Hagen Central!
Olding Suari, Portfolio Manager - Outer Centres kicked off her week in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands Province.
This is her first trip since her appointment as the Portfolio Manager - Outer Centres.
She visited all her tenants to check in on how they are doing and to introduce herself to them in person. Olding will be paying a visit to her tenants in other provinces in the future.

PPP Recognizes World Environment Day
In recognition of World Environment Day, Steamships and Pacific Palms Property donated a total of 9 wheelie bins to the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority (CEPA) to assist with their school program for World Environment Day. The theme for the 2022 World Environment Day is “Only One Earth, Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature”.
CEPA is an independent organization under the Department of Environment and Conservation that focuses on the conservation, preservation, and sustainability of the physical and natural resources of Papua New Guinea.
Pacific Palms Property and Steamships will be joining CEPA on Sunday for the Walk for the Environment from Sir Hubert Murray Stadium to Ela Beach, where we will participate in a beach clean-up.

Happy Mother’s Day
Josephine Beata, Residential Portfolio Manager and Emma Ilau, Leasing Manager, were out and about giving baked treats for all their tenants. They collected pastries from Beachside Bakery and delivered to their tenants at Scott Apartments, Queenscliffe Apartments, Fitch Townhouses and the rest. At Windward Apartments enlisted the help of Windward Site Superintendent, Pauline Korowa to give out the gifts in the East and West Towers.

Property Leasing Workshop
This month, we hosted a Property Leasing Workshop. The workshop was about equipping our team with understanding the standard terms of the commercial and residential lease agreements. It was an interactive workshop that was also perfect for team building.

Celebrating Our Young Graduates
This week the University of Papua New Guinea hosted its 67th Graduation Ceremony. We are delighted to have seen some of our young and vibrant staff members graduate with their Bachelor’s Degree in their respective courses.
We would like to congratulate Nick Lewa (Bachelor of Accounting and Recipient of CPA Academic Excellence Award), John Oveai (Bachelor of Law), and Emmanuel Sarufa (Bachelor of Arts - Double Major in Political Science & Creative Arts).
